Philip Eugene "Phil" Perry is an American R&B singer, songwriter, musician and a former member of the soul group The Montclairs. He gained popularity in the 80s after recording the song "Just Make You Happy". In 2001, he released an album with Dave Grusin, Harvey Mason, Patti Austin, and others. In 2006, he recorded a collection of R&B hits called Classic Love, which later won a Grammy award. In 2007, he released the album "Mighty Love", for which he received the SoulTracks award for best vocalist of the year.
